Fennel seed is a terrific home remedy for acid reflux because it is known to help with many different digestive conditions. It contains Anethole which is a compound known to suppress spasms of the stomach or GI tract. Chew one half a teaspoon full of fennel seeds after each meal.

Home Remedies for Acid Reflux – Anise and Lavender Tea

Mix equal amounts of aniseed and lavender. Boil two and one half cups of distilled water and pour over a teaspoon of the herbs. Allow this to steep for three to five minutes, strain, add sugar and drink. This concoction will also help relieve heartburn which is a symptom of acid reflux.
