Home Remedies for Sunburn

A sunburn is a painful experience we have all shared over the course of our lives at least once. Sun burns usually occur after a prolonged exposure to the sun without any type of topic protection on the skin area.

If you have been subjected to a sunburn here are a few home remedies for sunburns that will help with the pain and swelling.

Home Remedies for Sunburn - Cold Tea Bags

Tea bags are great home remedies for sunburns. Brew up tea bags, enough to cover the affected area and ice so the tea is very cold. Take the cold brewed tea bags and place on the sunburned area. The tea pulls the heat out of the sunburn which helps with the pain.

Home Remedies for Sunburn - Facial Skin Crème

Another good choice of home remedies for sunburn is the use of Noxzema Skin crème. Place a small amount on your hands and place it onto the affected area and let dry. After a short time take a bath in very cool (not cold) water to let the Noxzema crème gently rinse off the affected area. This helps with the pain and also with future peeling.

It is a succulent plant that originated in Africa that likes a tropical climate to grow and is often seen in Western yards as an ornamental.
