Head lice is something that everyone deals with at least once in their lives. Whether it be as a child who caught it at school or a parent who’s child brought it home from school it is very common. While there are several different products you can buy at the store there are also many different home remedies that will give you the same results. These are just a few of the home remedies for head lice that will help get rid of it.
Home Remedies for Head Lice – Lemon Juice
Mix 2 tablespoons of both garlic paste and lemon juice together. Then apply your mixture to the scalp both in the areas that you can see the head lice and in the areas you cannot see the head lice. You want to treat the entire scalp. Allow the mixture to dry for 30 minutes then wash your hair as normal.
Home Remedy for Head Lice – Olive Oil

While home remedies will likely work I think it shoudl be noted that no matter what shampoo, topical application etc taht you use, you are going ot need a very good metal lice and nit comb or you will be battling these critters for ages.
There are several on the market but the best ones are generally only available online.
The one tha twe used that seemed amazing to us was called the NitFree comb from a company called Kleen-Free ( http://www.kleen-free.com ).
You have to get rid of the eggs and picking them out by hand is tiring and difficult.
