Home Remedies for Foot Odor

When your feet smell or have an odor it can usually be traced back to sweaty feet. But because foot odor can be very embarrassing many people turn to home remedies for foot odor.

Home Remedy for Foot Odor- Alum powder:

This is one of the home remedies for foot odor that’s best used for feet that sweat or stay wet. Clean your feet and dry. Sprinkle alum powder on your feet at night and wear socks to bed. Do this for 1 week.

Home Remedy for Foot Odor- Tea:

This has been one of the older home remedies for foot odor that people choose to use on their feet. Steep 3-4 lemon tea bags for 5-10 minutes. Let cool. Pour the cooled tea into a plastic tub and soak feet for 15 minutes. Dry.

Home Remedy for Foot Odor- Vinegar:

Many home remedies for foot odor involve soaking the feet. This one uses 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon of water. Heat mixture together and soak feet for 10 minutes.

Home Remedy for Foot Odor- Baking soda:

Sprinkle baking soda into your shoes each time you put them on. You can also do this if you wear shoes without socks. These type home remedies for foot odor work as a control for the hot sweaty foot and works by eliminating the wetness that starts the odor.

If you have a problem with foot odor you can also try wearing socks that are made with cotton wicking that help soak up any foot wetness.

Yes, you get the same effect by wearing special cedarsoles inside your shoes. The cedarwoord absorbs moisture and prevents from getting athlete's foot etc.

i tried bakning soda in my sons shoes because his feet smelled terrible. It worked well at decreasing the odors.
